Our TCA peel concentration is a medium depth category offering a significant improvement to skin appearance, with improved tone and texture and little downtime.
Stronger TCA peels are available to treat deep lines and scars but require much more downtime over weeks, with moderate skin peeling
A powerful exfoliant, it can visibly reduce signs of aging and hyperpigmentation removing dead skin cells of the epidermis layer, breaking up keratin and increasing skin elasticity and hydration in the dermal layer. Skin appears more youthful and bright.

WHICH ONE TO CHOOSE?
This quick treatment takes about 20-30 minutes. After cleansing the skin, the chosen peel is gently wiped on, allowed to do its magic for a few minutes, then wiped off. Some require a neutralizing solution to be added. Face is left looking refreshed. Vitamin rich repair and SPF sunscreen powder is applied afterward.
For best results, skin should be prepped with appropriate medical grade skincare for a few weeks prior to a peel. This ensures the skin is healthy enough to undergo a peel and maximizes results. We will discuss this during your consultation.
You may feel some mild tingling or stinging during the peel, which is completely normal and indicates that the acid is beginning to work. A cooling fan or cold compress will be provided.
Refrain from using skin-care or makeup products for 24 hours after the peel to give your skin time to recuperate.
With a deeper peel your skin may be red or have some flaking.
It is imperative to use dermatology approved sunscreen for the week afterwards (and always).

Keep skin hydrated and avoid steam rooms, saunas, hot tubs, and sweating from aerobic exercise which could not only dry out the skin but lead to hyperinflammation.

TIME COMMITMENT
Repeat the treatment as often as needed to achieve or maintain the results you desire. For lighter peels you may treat every 2 weeks to 5 weeks. Deeper peels require more time in between.
Don't worry, we will take the guesswork out of it for you. Based on an assessment of your skin and concerns, we will customize a treatment plan unique to you. As well, we will provide you with education on the use of products to prepare the skin in advance for best result and how to care for it afterward
